Anyone?

For anyone who has landed recently, do you require any cash at the airport (aside from pocket change)? My wife will be landing next week, so I want to ensure that she carries sufficient cash if it's required at the airport.

We got our passport back with Visa. Apparently the Visa was issue on the 30th December, 2015 but we didn't receive the PPR until the 11th of January, 2016.

We did our on the 26th of November (re-med request on 24th) and got PPR on January 11th. For us it was around 1.5 months from the day we did our re-med.

PPR here as well today. Finally the waiting ends after over 1+ week. Best of luck to all remaining individual for quick DM and PPR.

I hope yours is quicker than mine. We got our DM last Monday but still no PPR. I guess they generally send out PPR on Monday, so will have to wait and see. EDIT: Did they put in additional line in your status?

I wouldn't mind the wait as long as they can inform me of the current status. For example, I would be okay with it if they say we have made Decision on your file, and we will inform you in writing within next 2 weeks or something. Or when you do re-medical, they actually update the status saying...

It's so frustrating to wait after DM... 4 day and still no PPR request. Is it normal to have status changed to DM but no lines added?

I'm sponsoring my wife, so I can see her application status. There are only 3 lines but it changed form in process to decision made on Sunday/Monday

Yeah it's kinda sad that they don't update the ECAS even after DM. We got DM on the Sunday/Monday but no additional lines added at all (still only 3). I wonder if it's actually DM or someone just messed up. There is no way to contact them either.

It can't be that they refused our application. We got the notes and stuff, and we passed the eligibility, interview waived (genuine relationship), and got re-medical request at the end of November. So yeah I'm 100% sure it's been approved. Just dunno how long it will take them to send the PPR. I...

Third day after DM, still not PPR. I dunno how long it takes for them to send an email...

I think there should be another batch of PPR coming soon. We did ours on the 26th November and our status changed to DM yesterday. So I'm assuming there should be PPR soon.

Is it normal to have the status change to DM with no additional line added?

Oh, nice. So you should be expecting PPR soon. I wish our MP wasn't stuck up. He refused to do an inquiry until 17 months are up.

Thanks for the info. I dunno if this is the case with everyone, but when we got out notes last week, it said the re-medical request was sent out on 16th November, but we didn't get it till the 24th. Does it really take NVDO almost one week just to send send the email lol?

Which checks? No travel history for my wife, so that's definitely not an issue.

Is there a way to check if they got your re-medical successfully besides requesting notes? I tried to contact my MP but he refuses to contact NVDO until 17 months are over.
