my advice is that you officially write to CIC and send the document via registered mail. I do not trust the call centre. my experience with the call centre was very bad. I call two times in the same day and talk to different agent and received completely contradictory information.

my daughter is 12 and she also received a letter to take the oath. when we went there the officer said she can take the oath and even went to the judge to get her certificate.

my timeline is as follows: test : Aug 26 Request for Fingerprint Sep 25 Fingerprint sent Oct 1 Dec Made Nov 28 Oath - have not received letter yet

i was in the same situation like you. got the test during my vacation. i sent a copy of my ticket and explaining the reasons why i cannot make for the test. i got the test the following month . hope it works the same for you

when did you submit your fingerprint?

i have received request for fingerprint after i did my test. CIC told me that because there is a request for fingerprints it makes my application non routine and it can take up to 36 months. anyone can help me with that .
