Same situation here for an April 20 OATH. I'll probably call soon. Anyone in the same boat?

We've been scheduled (on tracker) for the Oath Ceremony on April 20. The update happened on March 28. No email arrived so far. Any one in the same boat? Does it take that long? I checked all of course. Should we act somehow now?

Had Oath today in the Chinese Cultural Center in Scarborough. Went smoothly. They just looked at the PR card. We were ~300 and there was a previous ceremony in the same day of another 300. Judge adviced everyone wait till Tuesday to apply for passport. Good luck everyone.

Not necessarily. I received test invite by email but oath incite by mail.

They would reschedule that for you in a future date. In the case I know about, the new date was 4 months later, and the new invitation arrived by mail. The oath was then scheduled another 4 months after that. That was in Scarborough.

Just found my Oath invitation on the ECAS system. We sent you a notice on December 10, 2019 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on January 9, 2020 at 1:00 PM. ...

You had a "decision made" on your file, which is surely acceptance. Therefore, the only thing preventing them from sending you an oath invitation is finding you a spot. They are overcrowded these days.

No you're not. Scarborough is extremely slow with tests and oaths now. waiting for test, many others too.

It is the security clearance. They need a clearance from wherever they contact regarding you, based on your origins and past travels. This takes time and all they can do is wait for reports to arrive. They do not share these info on GCMS notes.

Just got my GCMS notes. My file has not been touched since April, when they obtained my finger print and I passed criminality. It is in Scarbourough.
