Hello, My wife will be traveling to Canada this week. Does anyone know how long of a wait at the airport I can expect? I know she will have to show her paperwork from the Havana Embassy. Just wondering.

My File was transferred to Havana in February 2014.

My wife will arrive in Canada this week. Papers were filed Dec 2014. Visa granted February 2016. It has been a frustrating journey, thank you all for your support. Cheers

My wife had her interview, she submitted the police check a week later and it took them 9 business days to send the email. Cheers

Hi all, Finally!!!! I just received an email. My wife has to report to the embassy with her passport and photos next week so she can pick up her visa!!! I can not put into words how happy I we are. Good luck all! Thank you for your support through this difficult process. Cheers

Update: My wife had her interview. She was told by the woman that interviewed her that she was going to approve the application, but she needed a new police check. A week later my wife submitted the new police check. Again she was told they are recommending a visa.... BUT... It could take 10...

My wife had her interview today. She said it went well. They asked for a new police background check (I had her order one last month). She will get the new police background check next week and return to the embassy. I am hopeful. I will update as news comes. Cheers
