    Conditional PR for Spouse

Hi, I have a related question. At the end of the two year period, do the sponsor or the PA, have to submit something to CIC, like proof of living together? If no one reports anything, do we have to do any paper work to satisfy the condition?

NEW DELHI (NDVO) - 2016 SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE CANADA

I'd suggest go for a week in Oct and then 3-4 weeks in Jan. But you do have some time till Jan. Your spouse might have PR by then.

It is not a generic thing for TRV. Some people do get an extra request for medicals and face the same issue with the physician. You must have got the medical request for TRV with IMM1017 form? The upfront medical done for PR is an EDE type. The TRV medical is NON EDE type. It is basically the...

If you are a PR, I'd suggest you keep your visit to India for 3-4 weeks. Anything more than that may look like you are not living in Canada and may create potential risk for your application.

NEW DELHI (NDVO) - 2016 SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE CANADA

I have a different opinion on this than johny. If their is a gap on Schedule A, NDVO will most probably ask for a new form, which means adding some processing time to the application. It's better if you yourself fill in a new form and send it to them. You can send it through case specific...

You don't have to provide the bank statement of the PA for the PR application. The statements of the sponsor should be submitted. For TRV, the applicant has to submit bank statement to show the funds to support the visit. If your wife is planning to apply for TRV, she being a student, is a...

Most probably CIC will not ask question on that. They are not bothered about your commitment to home country. They just give you a date before which you must land and how you manage it, is up to you.

NEW DELHI (NDVO) - 2016 SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE CANADA

Hey guys! My wife landed last Friday at Toronto airport. Pretty straight forward process, they asked a few basic questions like are you involved in any criminal activity, stamped the list of items she was carrying, signed the COPR, took her Canadian address, issued the SIN and that's it. Did...

They'll ask only generic questions. Make sure she has filled the BSF form with the list of items she is carrying and a separate one with the items to follow. It's also good to carry the pictures for the items to follow. They'll also need her address in Canada, where her PR card will be mailed.

You're welcome. Below are a few things you should note: 1. Start collecting the proof of your relationship (emails, chat records, phone logs, pictures, gift receipts, travel tickets, boarding passes and whatever else you have). This takes most of the time and doing it at the last moment will...

NEW DELHI (NDVO) - 2016 SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE CANADA

There is no set process to get the PCC from India. Some people get it easily from passport office, some from SP's/Commissioner's office and some face difficulty at both the places. How long it will take, will also depend from office to office and person to person. Some get it in 15 mins and for...

The denial which you get at US border is only an administrative denial (always given when flagpoling). It is not an actual denial since you are not trying to enter US. It will not have any impact on getting a US visa in the future or entering US. You mentioned a good point that it should be...
