Hey. Let's share the timeline for all the new immigrants that are waiting for their permanent resident card to be received by mail. I landed on the first of February and I am still waiting for the card. Note that I already passed the processing time, 54 days.

Hi, I am waiting a decision on my PR app and i left my job. I currently have a closed work permit (for my ex employer) that is due to expire in 8 months. How can I get an open work permit? Do CIC really care if my work permit won't expire in 4 months?
