My application has been approved! I don't know exactly when because I didn't receive a status update email. I so hope that I'll receive COPR quickly because I'm going to fly over there on the 8th of November. Any estimations on how long that normally takes?

now MyCIC status changed from "additional document required'" to "provided", so I'm positive I did it right.

actually I received an email from vienna today! it was weird. Kind of a request of additional documents but not case specific. they were saying that my application has reached the final state and they need more info IF my family status has changed, IF I hadn't payed my fees yet, IF my photos...

It was the same for me and now it's been 4 weeks since background check started. for others, it was indeed a sign of the process being over soon. But I'm not sure if those lucky ones already had passed eligibility as well.

Medicals passed. I did upfront as well but it only changed to passed yesterday.

Update: Background check in progress! Medical and eligibility still the same though.

Finally an update at MyCIC! Background check is in progress! It's weird though. Medical and eligibility are review in progress as well still. I don't get it but that must be better than worse I'd hope.
