My medical didn't even have an eye test. I imagine if I was outright blind there would have been an issue, but I can't see them caring as long as you have a functional level of vision.

Why not just file them now and be done? You need to do it anyway, and that way there is no question.

I personally wouldn't bother - I think you are going to create far more confusion and trouble by trying to resolve it, and I don't see what trouble it would cause.
