    Wow NDVO seems to be clearing the backlog before the holiday season sets in. Received passport request today. Ecas was updated to decision made yesterday only.

    My mom's Ecas shows decision made since yesterday. Original medical expired July 2017. Re-medical in Sep. Just saw the status update y'day. No other correspondence from NDVO.

    They cannot work in Canada on super visa. So don't have to file taxes in Canada I think. Maybe back in home country they may have to.

    Seems all Visa Offices outside of Canada are still working on apps from Jan 2014.

    Pretty much the same for my mother's application. Applied in Jan 2016, medical in July 2016, NDVO asked for RCMP PCC in May 2017, submitted. Nothing after that. ECAS status still at "in process" and "medical results received".

    just worried if i missed any mail from them. am sure i haven't missed any email though. and there's nothing on ecas that says they sent any mail/ email... just says 'in process' since sep 2015.

    I noticed there was a lot of action till June 2015; lots of posts and updates from folks. Seems to have gone down drastically after that. And any idea if there are gonna be changes (positive/ negative) with the Liberals now at the helm?
