Hi Buddy, As per my knowledge, Not even tourist visas are issued on hand written passports anymore so I am not sure about PR Visa. Most countries do not entertain hand written passports for issuance of Tourist or Business Visas . Hope this helps!! Regards,

Hi Gerry, There is no set timeline to follow but I have personally noticed that PPRs are being issued approximately after 03 months of the last correspondence with your VO these days. Wether it is the MR sent or any additional document sent or a PCC sent to the VO. I have not seen any case...
