If your file is at the last stage of approval, IRCC will send an email asking you to provide your email address and other information. Then IRCC will setup a login to upload photo. On the other hand, they may call you to confirm the same, send you COPR and you have to mail your photograph for...

Buddy, any update? I submitted my details in the portal today.

IRCC is following 2 different options, if you are asked to send the photo my mail you do that. Other option is to upload to the portal which you use only if asked to do so.

Did you take the photo per their specification?
