Hi, You shouldn't be disheartened. I think it's CIC's way of telling you to stop calling since there is not much info available to them anyway. Maybe you can order GCMS notes, there have been a lot of instances where its helped the application to move along.

Hi, I would suggest that you submit a 'Name difference affidavit' along with all your documents to be on the safe side. You can do a google search for the format and visit a local court to get it done.

Hi, VO refers to visa office and not 'visa officer'. Your VO depends on your current place of residence as far as I know.
