Contact CIC technical team to know if there is a glitch with your account - since officer at the airport told you that your application is approved. I am May 12th/13th applicant but there is no update from CIC. :(

Ares91, I think you can apply from Canadian Embassy in Islamabad once you get your work permit. However, I recommend you check and compare the visa processing times for applications submitted in Canada and at Islamabad, Pakistan. I hope they are fixing the website - since we know from few members that they are approved in the system but it does not reflect on their application status, or their application appears to be approved but they have not received any letter in their account or any email notifications stating so...

I only called them once in October when processing times passed May 13th. The agent said she has put in a request, and I will have to wait. Life is on hold (SIN is expired, BC MSP is expired). There is nothing we can do without this work permit. CIC and concerned people should look into this.

I am May 13th applicant - paid full at time of application ($255). No email/message from CIC except a blank update somewhere in August. Still waiting as of Nov 3rd - 170 days and counting. :(

Here is my timeline: Application submitted: May 12th Change of Address: June 22nd Blank Update: Sometime in August Contact Call Center: October 13th I have not heard from CIC so far. Fingers crossed.
