Thanks, CIC confirmed this on email as well. They mentioned to submit required docs within 30 days of delivery.

Hi, Due date doesn't mean anything for us, it is for their internal purpose. bottom line is that so far there is no red flag in your app so far and it has reached NDVO for further checks.. we are all in the same boat. Our applications will be looked at when NDVO gets time... may be 1-2 months...
