in my case, they have been holding my passport for 3 long years. they have asked for it last nov 2009, something came up with my sponsorship case, and unfortunately until now no decision has been made. unlucky me, they still hold my passport and its so draining! ive been wanting to get it back...

i agree. ako nga spet 2009 pa kame napass.. december pa lang nasa immigration na passport ko hanggang ngayon "in Process" pa rin.. so chill lang muna and pray hard.. yan ang paborito kong gawin.. :P

guys dont get too worried sa timely process ng immigration. dont get too anxiuos if its one two three or even six months from the date you've sent your passports and hindi pa DM sa ecas. Normal lang daw na six to 7 mos. max of nine months kasama na yung pagdeliver na visa based sa ibang...

Thanks auditman.. ako nga, i hate the feeling like im so useless kase wala akong magawa, but im lucky to have my in laws and my husband's relative jan sa Canada, they are planning to help us get our lawyer and to get in touch sa MP. all i can do now is pray, and pray hard.. faith yun lang ang...

thanks rhizzav.. sabi ng asawa ko, sana ikaw na lng yung immigration officer. kase naiintindihan mo yung case namin. hindi by the book like them. i just dont understand why cant they see that there's always an exemption to every rule.. it kills me so much. i hate it.

yes my husband acquired his pr because of his parents. sabay sabay nila na acquire yung pr. and yes he was declared as single. pero during the time na umalis sya. we are not married yet. mag bfgf pa lang kame, it so happened lang na we lived together, pero its with our friends and co workers...

sad to know that things like this fraud marriages happens. the worst part is that most of time they were granted the visa. where in fact many who has a genuine relationship are being denied for some absurd reasons. its so unfair.. >:(
