no dear there is no rule like that. infact if he visits you twice in a year during the time of the processing it will be good for you guys cuz that will show you guys met each other. make sure it's 2-3 weeks at a time. not too long or too short. hope that helps :)

i was in your shoes few months back. i directly went to MP office and asked them myself. didn't involve my lawyer. you don't have to involve your lawyer. i'm sure you can go and ask them to ask NDVO. just some thoughts. that way you don't wait for lawyer to contact and get back to you. goodluck!!

i'm sorry kite, i didn't have the same problem. like i said his passport was taken at the interview. my husband took all the proofs to the interview almost 1000 pages of stuff but she didn't take anything. the interview lasted for 4 minutes believe it or not and he got passport back in 15 days...

no dear, there was no email or anything sent while it was on the way, he just received it one fine day. my husband said it was sent by "Indian Post". it usually takes about 20 days excluding weekends and holidays. hope that helps.

My husband's passport was taken on spot after interview and they sent it back within 15 days. so he didn't have to use any courier service fortunately.

Yes, my husband did his medical before going to the interview without any request. it is absolutely OK to do it without a request because it'll save you time in the long run. after your interview you can mention that you've done it and they will take it on spot. hope that helps. goodluck

Gosh, so sorry to hear that dear. Please go for appeal ASAP.

our officer did mention that application is approved and that we'll get stamped visa in 15 days and that's what happened. but do not worry, i'm sure you are through also because usually taking passport means it's approved. it if it is rejected they will say right away it's not approved. goodluck!

it can take anytime from 2 weeks to couple months unfortunately. don't worry you're almost there. be strong!

Hi all, FINALLY after the LONG wait, my husband got his passport back today with THE VISA!!! We can't believe this day has come. it took us 20 months to get everything done. To everyone that are waiting for interview date or passport back, just hang in there, it'll come. trust me. it's a game...

A march 2015 applicant got his/her interview on July 25, so my guess is you should be end of August sometime. Hang in there. I know it's tough.

there's no mentioned time but i would say from experience that give atleast a month or two months before you apply for notes again so that you give them the time to work on your file and update it. if the two dates are too close then you might not see anything new in your notes. hope that helps.

if you are sure that you've interview, then no point contacting MP. unfortunately, you have to wait until you get the date. i know the pain believe me, it's terrible. but hang in there, be strong! goodluck !
