Pleasure :) Yes you have to send it through VFS. I almost made the same mistake but luckily I clicked on the link and realised I had to send it through vfs and also pay the transmission of passport fee and here in SA they provide the service of sending back your processed passport by courier at...

Btw basketballfan.. Some advise...try sending your passport for visa through VFS.. they're really good.
