I had closed work permit based on LMO. I got approved BOWP yesterday. It says in pdf WP-EXT, not type. Will it be of open type? Will I be able to work for any employer now? Just want to be sure..

Hi all, I got my BOWP work permit today. If I want to get open work permit for my spouse(SOWP), should I send online(paper) application or is it possible just to go to the border to get one for her? Anybody had the same situation? If it is possible to go to the border what forms do I need?

I would suggest you to call cic asap and ask for it. I don't know anybody that applied for kid. Btw, work permit for kid? BOWP stands for Bridging OPEN WORK PERMIT? I believe your kid needs another status in Canada, not work status?

If you are primary applicant and your work permit is valid more, I believe she can just get spousal open work permit based on yours. Not 100% sure, but believe you can even go to the border to do that to avoid processing times. Btw, congrats! Did you guys apply online or paper? Looks that there...

You cannot get BOWP at the border

Hi, I did my upfront medicals in May. Got my GCMS notes today. It says Medical Passed. Is that a good sign? Or I still need to wait my turn for medicls after all August and September applicants? Should I expect my RPRF soon?

Is it true that last year in some time BOWP processing time was as high as now and then it suddenly decreased? I'm not sure if that's true, heard from one person. It's just hope for me it might happen the same now. What do you guys think, will it keep increasing like this forever?
