Mine was supposed to go to Vienna.. then went to Ottawa.. then we waited like 3 months after the transfer.. and just got the DM info a couple days ago - from Vienna! ;) I feel like they might be a little all over the place right now with who is dealing with what. I'm not sure what you mean.. but I was going off the fact that it said it was an average of 18 months for all visa offices. Maybe that's changed recently... but I didn't really base my calculations on that anyways! Too long :P Thank you!!! Yes definitely!! :D Wonderful! Congrats to you too then!

Thank you! It also took a few months longer than expected. Mine went to Ottawa too, even though we were expecting Vienna. That seems to be happening a lot lately.

YES! We have news! My common-law partner just got his email today saying that his PR application has reached the final stage!! ;D Yippee!! Even says Decision Made on ecas.. Guess I didn't need to order the GCMS notes.. haha

Actually I have a question about the notes! Do you know.. If I apply, will it only give information about me and my application to be a sponsor? Or will it have information about my partner's application for PR too? I assume I can't apply for notes for him directly since he's not Canadian, a PR...

Great thanks. We are actually applying from Germany (my partner is German, I'm Canadian), but got forwarded to the Ottawa office. I'm assuming he's visa exempt.. but got a bit worried reading about all these people who have had PPR because we have travel plans coming up. Oh well, fingers crossed!

Hey all.. Do all PR applicants have to send their passport in once DM is received? Or is that only when for people who are not from a visa-exempt country? ::) Thanks!

I know! It's a little concerning. ??? We're trying to come up with possible hold-ups.. my boyfriend and I have both lived in various places in the last 10 years before settling in Germany for the last few years, so we're hoping it's just taking longer to check all our background stuff!? Maybe...

Do you get different information when you log in with the PR applicant's info?

When you got DM, did the PR applicant also receive an email at the same time? Or did you just see DM in ecas? I'm just curious as I sit here waiting... I feel like mine should arrive any day according to all the other Ottawa timelines.. and now I'm turning into one of those panicky "Ah! What's...

Wow Marli that is super fast! Yay! How fantastic for you!! Congratulations!! :D When they originally sent us our AOR1 they had spelled my partner's name wrong. I just sent the Ottawa CIC office an email with all my file information and they promptly wrote back and said they had fixed his name...
