Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

So I landed on the 1st of March. I have a trip booked and paid for in June to Barcelona. The timing is tight, but I saw on the CIC website that you can send in a CSE for urgent processing by including your itinerary and receipt of travel. I sent in my CSE and got the response "This message is...

105 days is getting a little ridiculous. I am FSW Inland with AOR Sept 11. Haven't received PPR yet, but typically fsw inlanders have to wait the longest. I have a trip booked and paid for to Barcelona on June 1st, so when I eventually get PPR I am just going to apply for urgent processing of...

    Reasons for Rejection

Wow, sorry to hear that kaypee786. That is the exact thing that I am worried about with my Canadian experience bringing my score down to just below the minimum entry in my draw. This doesn't bode well for me :(

    Reasons for Rejection

Regardless, I guess it is out of my hands. All I can do now is wait So if they discount it completely then I will be 5 points shy. Do you know if it is an all or nothing thing? Surely if I have signed documents from engineering firms stating I have three years work experience inside of Canada...

    Reasons for Rejection

oh crap, I think the score was actually 471 for that draw, which means I might be a few points lower :-[ It was 450 and 459 in the weeks either side of my draw, just my luck that my draw was randomly 20 points higher. Ughhh Do you think this means I will be in trouble?

    Reasons for Rejection

It was 459. So without my Canadian Experience counted I would still have a CRS higher than the lowest ranked candidate invited. My reference letters state that my official job title was an engineer, with full time/salary information etc. It's just the job description that doesn't quite match

    Reasons for Rejection

Yeah I did. So if they aren't satisfied with one section of my work experience is that grounds for complete rejection? My CRS was 516 from memory, so even without the Canadian work experience points I would have a CRS over 450.

    Reasons for Rejection

I am stressing a bit about this too, now. I was invited to apply under the FSW, with a CRS of 500+ I had 2 years work experience Chemical Engineer in a refinery before I moved to Canada, and have 3 years experience since living here. My reference letter for my foreign work experience matches...

    EE application rejected 07/01/2016

I'm going to see an immigration lawyer this afternoon so I will add it to the list of things to inquire about!

    EE application rejected 07/01/2016

Is this the same for both visa required and visa exempt countries? I am an Australian citizen and I'm a little worried now as my PCC was Jan 2014 and I travelled back to Australia for a couple of weeks since that time. I am September AOR and haven't heard anything back yet. From the CIC...

    EE POF

My letter just said the total amount in my cheque account. I used that as the first page of my attachment and then added all of my other information behind it (bank statements, pay stubs, tax return etc) and scanned them all in as one document

    EE POF

I'm with CIBC and they did the same sort of thing. The branch didn't really know what I was talking about, but they got hold of someone in their immigration department. I think it cost me $20 or so too, and took a week or so for them to send it to my local branch. What i received back was a...

    EE POF

It has to be a letter from the financial institution. I found out the hard way. My first EE application was cancelled as incomplete last year because I gave them everything BUT the letter. I had bank statements, investments, tax returns and pay stubs Cost me a few months and now I'm cutting...

AOR in September Let's Connect here

Actually, I think I read that because I'm from a visa exempt country (Australia), I only have to scan in all pages of my passport instead of sending it in... Hope so

AOR in September Let's Connect here

Ohhhhhh lame! So if they process in Jan, we will have to send in our passports for stamping?! I have to go back to Australia from Feb 10-26 for family matters. So unless CIC lines this up perfectly and I get the email to send in my passport whilst I'm away I might be able to get back in under...

Does anyone else have their background check as "In Progress"? I don't know when, but mine has changed to that now. My eligibility is still "in progress" too. My current work visa expires on March 1st. I am not sure if I can get a bridging Open Work Permit though as I have already been working...
