Parents file was received on June 6th 2019. Medical request was sent on January 23rd 2020. Medical results have been received. Ecas status says it's "In process". It's processing in cpc Mississauga office. Have anyone received any update around that time regarding passport calls?

Thanks. it says Criminality cleared and the rest not started. not sure how long will it take as I applied in November 2017 and got in process in January 24th.

Call CIC and explain your situation as I just talked to them and the lady said they can put note on your accounts in this case.

- Called CIC today to find out the update. They said the background check has been completed but no update after that. - I live in Fort Mcmurray so I may have to go to edmonton for test. Does anyone know how long does it take after they're done with the background check?
