No, to both. Haven't received a single sms since passport submission to vfs. I do get emails, but after significant lag. Check the status on their site. I still don't have a blue dart reference number to track.

My current status on VFS is ... processed at Canada VAC and passports submitted to Courier partner ... means that it is now with Bluedart for delivery (I opted for courier). However, still awaiting the VFS email with tracking information.
