Hey! Yes, I took the test on August 11th, got the passport scans request on September 17th. So, about a month between these two milestones. 10 days after I sent the scans they changed everything to "Completed", other than the oath. Hope that helps.

Yeah, same here. But it's getting closer, I see others from Vancouver are getting oath invites so hopefully we'll be on the next batch. I'm refreshing the website 4-5 times per day :)

For me, that was the best app out there, from both visual design to content. Take some practice tests with that and you're good to go. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.spurry.cctfree Also available for iOS, company name is "Spurry" (I have no connection to them at all).

For sure one PDF per passport, don't send a file for every page. If you have two or more passports, not sure what they're asking for but someone here recommended sending it as one file all combined, which makes sense and less chance of them losing/not noticing the other files.

I used 3 free applications to do that, which I use daily anyway. 1. I scanned with "Paint.net" and saved as PNG full quality. 2. I used "Irfanview" to batch convert the PNG to lower quality JPEG files (while keeping the PNG as backup). To do so, just load the first image, and press "B", it...

    March 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

I've yet to hear about an application being "better" because it has more days. What CIC do advice is to not mail it exactly when you hit 1095, just in case the calculation is a bit off. So I would wait just a little bit more, to add more days to the count, so it will be above 1095 for sure, and...

Personally I didn't bother with Fedex and such and just sent using Canada Post. It's still trackable. With the Corona virus and the length of processing, - these 6-7 days difference won't make it or break it. Having said that, if you don't mind paying extra just to "get it there" - go for it.
