Hello. I'm on the same boat, and I'm from Alberta as well. I got re-medical request on Aug 5, 2021. Do you get "Med Approved" message from ECAS?? We've done medical on Aug 12, but we haven't seen any ECAS update. Is it normal?? I checked the GCKey website, it does show "Medical Received" though.

Hi Vic R, I have a question. I assume that your parents are in Canada, because I saw the word "virtual landing". Then since your parents are already in Canada, why it still needs PPR? Do we still need to send passport to CIC to get the visa stamp?

The first medical was passed on around Nov 27, 2020. Actually my first medical result has not expired yet. But the letter says even if it's expiring in the upcoming months, you still need to re-do the medical exam.

Congrats!!! My timeline is very similar with yours. The medical request date and SA approval date are the same. Mine is also processed at CPC-M, but ECAS still shows IN PROCESS.
