Once the application reaches Ottawa, it's been super fast. Most of the people since Feb already have DM. And we are starting to see quite a few from the first half of March start to get em as well. Trudeau and Liberals have kept their word on immediate family unification.

Paypal works great for transferring money between two accounts from different countries. My wife and I use it quite a bit when we see each other.

Great thanks guys for the information. Yes, hand written letters. I guess what I'm trying to figure out is (1) should we expect that the proof of relationship document will never be returned and (2) how to illustrate electronic data such as skype conversations, texts, and phone conversations.

I have a question regarding the "proof of relationship" section of the application. For letters and other documents, do we need to provide the actual letters (originals) or are copies acceptable? Thanks!
