Our status has officially changed to approved on GCKey after my wife received the passport dispatched email.

It doesn't really matter, you can submit at either of the two (whichever is close to you). They ship the passport right away to the Canadian High Commission, New Delhi. From there its upto them. My wife submitted her passport on 16th April and she also got the passport collection email today...

It is little confusing. They are asking for original but also saying that you can submit via web forum or email. I will recommend you to call them and confirm this. I would not want to send my original documents unless really needed and I also have to make sure they will send them back.

No, you dont have to send the original as you will never get that back. The only thing original that they ask for is Police Clearance Report.

Yeah, I also submitted 20 with the application. But I submitted pictures from different times during the wedding and from different days as well. May be thats why they didn't ask me to send them more.
