I don't think you do but it would not hurt to bring them along if you have them handy. Oh, they did ask me for a copy of my address (I had brought hydro bill).
Depends on a case by case basis. I got mine back within 10 days (from Toronto here). So hopefully if all goes well, it will be the same amount of time approximately
Depending on your category, you might need proof of funds also.

It does. I felt more excited when I got PPR though. Today was more just having to get it done kind of feeling. So relieved it is finally over though! After 7 years in Canada!
So I am at the border right now at Rainbow Bridge. Walked to US side at 11:20 am on a Tuesday. I was served right away. Got the flag poling white paper in 2 mins. Didn't really ask for anything; just did casual talk. Walked to the Canadian side at 11:27 am and I was helped right away also...
I applied under CEC and used Record of Employments. It somehow worked for me. It seems that most people used extensive documents from employers on here though.
Can you be more specific? What do you mean? I have GST/HST returns every year. It does not affect my status. CRA and CIC do not share information with each other to my knowledge
The 3 months to wait for PR card starts after you have landed; in this case, December for you. You will not be receiving the PR card until you have landed.
