No I was talking to the agent over the phone, he just said that my file seems to be ok and everything looks to be complete but there is no space to take the test at the moment so he told me to wait until they have space so they can schedule a date for me to take it.

I got the same answer by the agent, I guess we would have to wait!

I am in the same boat as you, My application is on April 29 and I was talking to the 1800 number today and they told me to wait and that my papers are ok I just have to wait to do the test and just to let you guys know my office in Mississauga.

How long a person has to wait after the background check was finish I was able to get in contact with the 1800 number, and the agent told me that my background check had been done and they are just waiting for the IP date so how long you guys think it could take?

I got an email from my MP on Feb 07 saying that they will call me for an IP soon but I don't know what she means by soon? I am still waiting to get an email or a letter from them. it is been 11 days since I got that email so I am frustrated. I have been waiting since april 20th 2018

@new_guy We are in the same boat, I was able to talk to an officer, and she told me that they have my papers at the Mississauga office so we might have to wait for a while. A question do you think it might be a good time to write the MP to ask about our case and why it is not moving forward?
