Thats really interesting, so still there is hope. how did you appeal? should I take a lawyer for this case you think? I still have about 15 days to appeal, would be appreciate if you can direct me to a page or something that shows the process. thansk

finally I received the letter from CIC after 3 years of wait, they mentioned I am not eligible to sponsor because I don't meet the minimum necessary income requirement :(. they assess my application based on year 2010, 2011, and 2012. I filed the application on 2014, not sure why they didn't...

also, I have a file #. on GCMS report some of my information are not correct like my status in Canada. i want to update my files and add some more docs. is there anyway I can update them online or it should be done by mail?

all, received my gcms. they didnt even assigned anybody to the application :(. I applied as I said on Jan 13 2014. seems my application is a bit abnormal to others. do you guys have any recommendation for me. is there any way I can push my application forward or I just have to wait... cheers.

I am still waiting to get result from my application (parent sponsorship mom and dad), as I said before, I applied on Jan 13,2014, and they have not even opened my application yet, CIC on their website said my application is received. how many applicants are waiting like me and applied on 2014...

I applied for my parent sponsorship, they received the application on Jan 13, 2014. My status is still " Received" in ecas.

I just checked my ecas, nothing is updated yet and doesn't reflect that I am invited for oath ceremony.

Hi all I got my oath letter today. they assigned Aug 24 for the ceremony. Just for your info, I first applied on Sept 04 2014, and I did the citizenship exam on May 08th, 2015. cheers
