so when i went to flagpole at the border, i thought i would need a visa, but because i said i was flag poling i didn't need one and they gave me a sheet of paper and guided me back to the canadian border. There was no need to get a visa.

I had the same thing. $0 for the pof, my immigration officer didn't ask for any pof, i do have a job though. I took my recent pay stubs just in case they asked for pof.

A bio data sheet comprises of, your name, height and eye colour. I believe some other people haven't had the bio data sheet requested. As long as you follow exactly what the instructions say you will be fine.

Congrats both of you guys. Feels good. Sounds like quite the entry esantos! It does say on the papers you receive that you must leave Canada and enter the U.S. Then come back to Canada. The border guard from the U.S literally put "flag poling" and I was sent back to Canada.
