Should I include my old passport in the application, too?

Thanks for the reply. In the mean time I called the Call Centre, and was very happy with their service. The officer told me to include all the pages with the stamps included in the old passport, and the bio data page for the current passport. One thing she also said: "When in doubt - provide...

Should I include my old passport in the application, too?

Hey guys, we are preparing our application, after receiving ITA in August. I recently changed my passport and I haven't traveled with it yet. Should I include a copy of my old passport with the stamps of the travels, or is the new one sufficient? I'm thinking yes, but my husbands thinks not...

    For postdoctoral fellows

Hey guys, we have received ITA under FSW, but were also eligible under CEC. My husband is the principal applicant and has been a postdoc for more than 3 years with a Canadian PhD degree. I am going nuts over figuring out whether his job is considered "valid" or not. Postdoc positions are...

    INLAND FSW .... CONNECT HERE

Are you saying that it is better to be invited under CEC as opposed to FSW? If so, why?

    INLAND FSW .... CONNECT HERE

Hey guys, has anyone of you been assessed as eligible under FSW and Canadian experience class, and then invited under FSW? We only have Canadian work experience after completed our PhDs, and we have been invited under FSW, which is somewhat confusing. I am wondering, if anyone is in the same...

If my children are Canadians, do I need to include them in the application?

Ok, I figured it out. Yes, everyone whose kids are Canadians should include them in the application (which is logical :) ). Later, in the application process, there are questions about citizenship etc.

If my children are Canadians, do I need to include them in the application?

Finally, we got invited today! With 469 points! :) We have 2 children, both were born here, in Canada. My question is: should we include them in the application for the PR, since they are Canadians? I'm not sure about this. Please, help. Thank you!

    14th draw done - 471

We have 469 points. :( I wonder how are they determining the number of invitations to be issued. Anyone has an idea?

How long did you wait until your points got updated?

The scores on the CELPIP were: 10, 12, 8, 9, so they would have been scored. I will wait a day to see if it gets updated. It's weird, though, because when my husband redid the test, and we updated the application with the new test results, the points were updated right away. Now, they aren't.

How long did you wait until your points got updated?

Hi there, we created a profile for Express Entry back in March. Now, as a spouse, I decided to also take a language test to ramp up the score. When we entered the test results in the profile, the score did not change. I am wondering how long did it take you to get your points updated? Thanks!

    CELPIP: successful re-evaluation!

Thanks Asivad Anac! This is for CELPIP. I looked at the research article on the CELPIP reliability. It was interesting to see that the reliability of writing and speaking assessment was only 0.70, which is not very high reliability coefficient. That's why all those successful reassessments occur.

    CELPIP: successful re-evaluation!

Hey guys, does anyone know if a score for the re-evaluation comes back lower, do you have to use that re-evaluated score for the PR application, or can you use whichever is higher? I am considering applying for the re-evaluation, but am worried if a re-evaluation is unsuccessful. Thanks!
