Hello, I received oath invitation on Nov 14. The Oath date is Dec 3rd. I have emailed asking for a reschedule as I will not be able to make that date. I have not received any reply, but when i called their phone, they just said I will get a new date after I miss my current appointment.

You don't need to have that for the interview. They will have the copy you submitted to them. I think most people just needed to show their passports during the interview.

Yikes, all this time I thought our application is considered 'citizenship certificate'. I didn't realise we fall under the 'citizenship grant' application which has a processing time of 12 months!!

Hi all, Since we submitted our application in September 2018, do we qualify in submitting a web form inquiry now as it has been much longer than the normal processing time of 5 months?

Mine was a PDF as well. Not urgent.

My ECAS shows In Progress. "We started processing your application on December 5, 2018."

I just got my AOR 10 minutes ago! Please update the spreadsheet.

Let's hope we don't have to wait much longer. There really doesn't seem to be a hard set rule that applications are processed serially all the time.

It is a paper based application only. You can track the application online after mailing the completed application.
