Mine was updated to 6 lines probably a couple of months ago, and since then no updates. Ip since July 13th.

No it won't speed it up, but could provide some info, like if the background check is completed or not.

Well it's been officially over a year since I received my AOR and more than three months since IP. I honestly can't see receiving it in the near future. Possibly in a few months though, as that's the average processing time.

That actually sounds plausible. And if that's the case, I can't really call it bad luck, since those people are in far greater need than us.

Well, according to the CIC website, the average processing time for the Sydney, Australlia office is 29 months, while Ottawa's processing time is 15 months. So it makes sense that you haven't had much progress on your file yet.

My friend who is a December 1st applicant, and who got her IP less than a month ago, got her DM today. It's been over 2 months since my IP. :(
