make sure to check it with cic first though. Because working holiday is IEC work permit which has hard cap of 1 yr (from what I know) So, after it expires, you need to apply for different kind of work permit. The OWP you apply with PR does give you implied status, but that is Implied status for...

Hi everyone, I received my OWP by mail today. Exactly after 1 week of approval :)

My partner already had a SIN # with her previous work permit (which expired) Does she need to apply for new SIN number again after the new OWP arrives by mail?

Did you get AOR? usually they ask for SchA and Police report a day after AOR. Check you cic account if there are any messages. If not, I will suggest to call them immediately.

Yes my partner got the ETA too. Please let me know if you find any extra information on how and if she can leave the country for short time. (she is from visa exempt country)

Same timeline as you! and approved today :) Seems like they just approved everyone from Jan 2-10ish. I think there are lesser applicants from Christmas to this time.

Hi all, our OWP application says "We are reviewing your application...." and I see many people saying this means it happens before it gets approved. I don't remember what that section would say otherwise. Was it not same all the time? Shall we be hopeful of approval or is it the same status all...

Normally it takes 4-8 weeks. So it should be on its way :) Keep your hopes up!

Cool! Technically we are 2nd week of Jan, with PR and OWP sent to CPC-M. I am hopeful then :)

Seems like there is big silence on OWP since Dec 20/21, no new approval yet? I'd expect it should be time for early Jan applicants like us :(
