Update: Requested for transfer for my passport by calling toll free number on October 14th as travel date was less than 20 business days away. Got a call today from local office to pick up passport on Nov 9th.

Quick question if you don’t mind - did you call to request the transfer or go to a Service Canada centre? I’m trying to determine what’s the most efficient way to do this. Thanks for your help in advance!

We mailed out our applications so Im assuming the receipt is given to certain in-person applications.

No proof for travel was included in our applications - only travel dates.

Yes, we’re quite surprised too. No proof of travel, just the travel dates on the form. My travel date is the same and my credit card was charged earlier but somehow his application seems to have been processed really fast.

It was a regular processing application, no tracking info sent before passport received. Our mailing and residential address is the same.
