Has your application been sent there? My partner is Japanese but our application was sent to Ottawa. It took us almost 7 months to get Decision Made, but we needed multiple police clearance from his time living abroad so that look a little longer.

My partner got his check from the police station in Osaka and I am pretty sure he just brought appendix B and (I thiiiink) A from the link provided above. Plus he had some proof ready to show that he needed his police check for the application like just the instructions on the website or...

WE GOT DECISION MADE!!! Checked this morning and there it was. I can't believe it! Finally the waiting is done! Hopefully everything is fine and the COPR arrives soon :) Thanks to everyone for being so supportive all the time, it has made this process so much easier :)

Oh man that's super disappointing...but at least we still can order GCMS notes. An ordeal for sure, but better than nothing! Trying to look on the bright side here...lol :(

Thanks for the reassurance. Of course each application/situation is unique but it's nice knowing we are all in this together! I guess most of the anxiety is from us not being able to receive my partner's Chinese police clearance and whether or not the documents we sent in are enough for Ottawa...
