Hey can you pl confirm if you got PPR mail from Ottawa or LVO(New delhi)? Thanks a lot and hope your mismatch in passport details get changed soon.

Any theory with CiC can be true ;) I hope who ever is doing our background check sends the PPR soon. May seniors or guys who have got PPR mails can confirm from where we get them. Best of luck buddy.

I was not aware that FSW outland receive PPR mail from LVO, I thought everyone will get it from Ottawa, its just that Outlanders will submit their PP and photos in LVO. Are we sure about this?

Even my BG went in progress on 25th and got a ghost email on 26th. Lets hope new thing is PPR :)

Didn't receive any email. I checked myCiC and it showed as updated with BG status changed to 'In Progress'.

Finally an update on my application after 5 months and 5 days. BG went 'In Progress'.

Congratulations!!! Its really great to see ppl getting PPR. Can you please tell when did your BG changed to in progress?

Hey - Even my BG is not started, Its been 5 months post my AOR. Dont worry as said above there have been cases of getting PPR withour BG update. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

I just got reply from Asivad that I cant claim these 10 points now. So guess will keep my fingers crossed that there is no recalculation. I have requested my GCMS notes a week back from GCMSnow.com; will wait for them. Thanks

It looks very strange then why they rejected your application. Can you please paste the exact text from CiC rejection mail as they might have done some mistake in calculation.

Sorry to hear about that. The FD amount is in your name or is it a joint account? Also, how much funding you were required to show?

Just called CIC call center. The agent was kind enough to look at my application. However she didnt update anything extra that I cant see on myCiC portal. She said that my background check is not started but she cant see any issue in the application. She said the process can go beyond 6 months...
