At my test/interview in Calgary, the interviewer said to expect the Oath invitation by email.

The application form says you cannot use a family member or your guarantor. Everybody else that knows you 2 yrs is fair game, even the guarantor's wife I'm sure. I don't see the problem if you have limited options to choose from. :)

6 months for me, from day I posted it, to DM. Just waiting on email now for the Oath ceremony.

For this I put the start date as the 1st day of your eligibility period and the end date as the last date I had temporary residence status (Landed as PR the next day). They ask you not to enter dates outside of your eligibility period.
