I landed on March 26th. Still nothing. CIC website says nothing. Calls made to them are never attended to. It keeps saying that they are having huge call volume and hence cannot connect to an agent. No matter when one calls, same message keeps plaging.

I am seeing messages where pp was submitted on 16th July, received back by 27th July....and here passports submitted on 5th July...still no response. Good you can visit personally...are you in the UAE? All the best to you. I cannot even visit since I am staying in Qatar.

Today completes a month since my passports were submitted at the Canadian Embassy at Abu Dhabi....no sign of the pp till now. No option other than to just wait.

Sure. Reading all the messages..one can only assume that there is no set order in which the passports are stamped and returned. There is also no option of a process to follow up on the same. Absolute radio silence is very unnerving.

I submitted my passports at the Canadian Embassy and it reached them on 5th July. 18 working days have gone by (excluding 7 days of weekend + Eid Holidays)...still no response. Don't know how long this is going to take.

Two weeks since I submitted my passports to the Abu Dhabi office of the Canadian Embassy. Guess it is still very early to expect a response.
