Thousands assigned to inactive immigration officers and IDs. Are you one of them?

I just read the article and I can't believe more people aren't talking about it on this forum! Luckily, I was PR and now a citizen :) but this forum really helped guide me through the whole process when I started it many, many years ago.

[March 2022] How is the processing time these days for lost PR Card replacement (need to travel)?

Good luck! And a tip for the Webform/status update - it wasn't clear to me when I made my inquiry, but you need to attach ALL of the documents you submitted with your application, including the app, IDs, copy of courier confirmation, etc. So be sure to make a copy of everything and have it...

[March 2022] How is the processing time these days for lost PR Card replacement (need to travel)?

I renewed mine last year - submitted in March 2021, it was supposed to take 90 days. I did not hear anything for 90 days so I had to submit a Webform for a status update - once I did that my application started moving. I would request urgent processing since you need the card for travel.

Hi all, I completed my virtual oath and ceremony on March 8, 2022 and as of March 9 my application is noted as "closed" because "Reason: We have approved your application to become a Canadian citizen."! I would like to note, during my Zoom oath/ceremony, my video froze and I was disconnected...

PR card not arrived after more than 1 year

App is short for "application" - so in this case, I am referring to my PR card renewal application.

PR card not arrived after more than 1 year

I submitted a webform in June 2021 regarding my PR renewal application that I sent in March 2021 (since I did not hear anything). My application started moving a week or two after I submitted the webform. My renewal app was approved and I received my card in mid July 2021.

PR card not arrived after more than 1 year

Hmmm....I recall on my app they asked for a copy of the PR card - maybe that has changed. Regardless, they should submit a webform to get their actual card since that is preventing them from leaving/entering Canada.

PR card not arrived after more than 1 year

Submit a webform with all of your PR application documents (copies of everything you submitted for your PR app), plus include documentation/confirmation that your PR card application was delivered to the correct office/address. I think you need to be PR card to apply for citizenship....I...

Any Edmonton 2019-2020 Applicants get Online Testing invite?

I did NOT request GCMS notes. So unfortunately, no correlation can be found. However, I had a PR Renewal in process at the same time as I knew my citizenship would not get approved before my PR expired in Sept 2021....So I submitted my PR card for renewal in March 2021. I had not heard...

Finally took my test today (Aug 10) as I needed to take it by midnight Aug 12. Passed 19/20! I read the book twice, made notes, took a couple of practice tests (Richmond library's online test, I think)...reviewed my notes once more before the test. I believe I mentioned this before, but the...
