Thank you for your response. I am trying to search something on the Ontario Gov website, but it seems they do not say anything about the actual work hours to be 8 hours with 30 mins break included in it. I am a little worried as i feel that I am being exploited.

Hi Hit Man, The Canadian education system is some what different to the one in Asian countries. Here they consider 8 months of studies as 1 year and 16 months of studies to be 2 years. So once you complete your 2 year program you will be eligible for a 3 year work permit.
