Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone had anything sent to them by Registered Mail from SVO. Do they use SingPost? I was also wondering how long it takes for registered mail to reach Australia, or any country not normally processed by SVO (roughly)?

No, ours was couriered by DHL since the VAC where my wife lives would not send it to the Singapore visa office. I can't seem to find anyone who couriered their passports (i.e. someone who doesn't live in the countries served by SVO)...

It has been just a bit more than 4 weeks for us since we couriered our passports to SVO. No news from them so far...The return waybill has not been activated yet...:(

Hi sharmita, usually it takes about 3-4 weeks to receive an AOR2. Any news tic_toe with regards to your passport? We are still waiting...

Congrats to all those receiving their passports!! tic_toe, I am still waiting. SVO received my passport on October 13th. No updates thus far. :( The wait is so stressful (especially since I couriered the passport unlike everyone here who used CVAC)...

SVO had received mine on October 13th. Ours was sent through DHL and tracking show that the package was received by someone called Haidee. No updates for us yet... If we don't hear back by next week, I might send a case specific inquiry.

Tanvirmk, please do let me know when the SVO has finished processing your visa issue and dispatched the passport. It will give us an idea of how long it is taking on average now.

We are allowed to contact SVO if it has exceeded 30 days of them having received the passport right? I'm not sure what the best way of getting in touch with them would be. Perhaps a case specific inquiry?

Yes Nimitz, you are correct. If there are no red flags in your application and you have provided sufficient proof of a genuine relationship you can expect to obtain the visa in less than a year. Recently, people with strong applications have been getting passport requests in as little as 6...
