Urgent! Mistake on COPR! Please kindly help!

Thanks for your input! What confuses me though is that the letter with the COPR mentions about what is to be done if the COPR has a mistake. It firstly mentions that the visa office be notified. Then it specifically states that "if the name or date of birth of any family member differs from the...

Urgent! Mistake on COPR! Please kindly help!

Dear members, My wife recently received her COPR from SVO. We noticed a mistake on the COPR where, under my information (the sponsor), the address is incorrect. The address they put is the address of our representative, the law firm we used. I know we put the mailing address to be the law...

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone had anything sent to them by Registered Mail from SVO. Do they use SingPost? I was also wondering how long it takes for registered mail to reach Australia, or any country not normally processed by SVO (roughly)?

got the passport request from singapore office today

No, ours was couriered by DHL since the VAC where my wife lives would not send it to the Singapore visa office. I can't seem to find anyone who couriered their passports (i.e. someone who doesn't live in the countries served by SVO)...

Tanvirmk, please do let me know when the SVO has finished processing your visa issue and dispatched the passport. It will give us an idea of how long it is taking on average now.

Bangladeshi Applicants for Sponsoring Spouse Only

We are allowed to contact SVO if it has exceeded 30 days of them having received the passport right? I'm not sure what the best way of getting in touch with them would be. Perhaps a case specific inquiry?

Yes Nimitz, you are correct. If there are no red flags in your application and you have provided sufficient proof of a genuine relationship you can expect to obtain the visa in less than a year. Recently, people with strong applications have been getting passport requests in as little as 6...

Bangladeshi Applicants for Sponsoring Spouse Only

Anyone else get back their passports from SVO? I also think ours will be delayed as they say that for passports sent through CVAC, the processing times will be shorter...and we sent ours via courier. :(

We sent ours via DHL since my wife isn't residing in Bangladesh. Tracking shows it was received by the Singapore Visa Office on the 13th of October. No news thus far. Also slightly worried as to how the processing will be for us since the passport was not sent via the conventional CVAC means...

Thanks for your valuable inputs everyone. Mazleen, thanks for the well wishes. You are right, but we contacted the CVAC in Australia and they said that they do not normally ship passports to Visa Offices abroad. They said that a request can be sent to SVO to transfer the file to the local visa...
