I became a citizen on 7 December :) Congrats to all applicants who have taken the oath, and I am hopeful for those who have applied that they will see their application progress. I applied for my passport in the late afternoon on 12 December and received my brand spanking new passport today ...

Would somebody please be able to grant access or help update the 2017 spreadsheet for November? The last 5 or 6 pages (2 weeks) of updates in this thread have not been updated - presumably because those with edit access are no longer reviewing the thread...

I don't think anybody who has edit rights to the spreadsheet is monitoring this thread any longer..

Oath invite received today - 12 December 2018 I have my fingers crossed for everybody who is still waiting. I'm not sure why, but I'm relieved and v. happy

People have different priorities and levels of patience.

Congrats! I know you were a little disheartened about the test invite delay, but in the end you leap frogged me and others!

Do not contact your MP - it is not their job to guide you through the process. I would simply provide all the information requested - maybe a page or two on your job responsibilities and clients.

As you received a RQ, that could mean that the application is no longer considered standard and could fall beyond the 12 month timeline.

The burden of proof is on the person making the accusation. Translation..."I wanna have my say and I don't wanna listen to anybody else who doesn't agree with me" Snowflake.

Lots of questions and assumptions mate. I'm not "attacking" anyone - my comments were an observation based on the literally thousands of posts of people indignant about the status of their applications, despite 99% of them being under the non-guaranteed processing time of 12 months for...

There are definitely those who think they are entitled to a speedy citizenship because they did it "the right way" unlike those ungrateful refugees clamouring over the border in their millions - moan and complain about the federal government when they aren't first in line for citizenship grants...

It is important to bring it, yes that is why it is in the required documents. It is your passport, simply tell them you need it

How did you miss 80 days??? Needless to say this isn't a small detail - applicants go to significant lengths to make sure they are as accurate as possible.
