So after 158 days, my BG check turned to in progress today. I got a document request last week. I am applying thro' an immigration consultant and I have just been informed about the change in status. I just hope PPR is very near. :) :) :)

Following a call, my immigration consultant has informed me that my status is still unchanged. However, another applicant has just received PPR after a wait of around 6 months. He is FSW Outland. I believe that for us outlanders, processing time will vary between 5-6 months..

Seeing the application status of some september and october 2015 FSW Outland applicants, i believe, the majority of those who are under the same category, will have to wait until march for any move... Until then,let's keep our minds busy with other stuffs in life.. Else me might run the risk of...

After reading posts from July and August candidates, I guess that approximately 4-5 months is the new waiting period from AOR for any good news for the majority of us. Unless CIC proceeds exceptionally fast... especially for FSW outland contenders. :) :) :)

We are all being plunged into the alleys of disappointment..i agree it' s hard..But we are all speculating..let's be positive and trust this government..our government for sure in the near future..We will be there provided we have abided to the requirements post ITA..Happy Friday n let's hope...

Well,i believe CIC is quite overwhelmed with the refugee issue and our immigration applications..but i don't think the refugees would pose a problem to the quota for the economic immigration programmes such as FSW, CEC and PNP..i opine that the refugee issue is just a social and goodwill action...

Hey mate..i am doing my application thro' a consultant and i dont have cic access..i am being updated by email upon query. The medical was passed either on 16.11 or before.i wont have a clue on the exact date. :(
