No you don't need to submit your Canadian passport but you need to carry it while submitting the application for verification. you will have to submit your original landing paper though. My 3 minor kids signed and I had to upload the thumb impression for the youngest who couldn't sign.

Guys do we necessarily need to upload the photos or can we affix it on the forms and submit it at bls. There is an option to skip uploading of the photos. I cant downsize the photos to 30 kb. Help appreciated.

Thanks Steve. During your interview after the test, didn't the Case Officer promise oath invite within 4 to 6 weeks?

If any one member of the family gets stuck with any of the application process then the whole family will get stuck. My advise would be to apply single. I applied as a family and because of me my whole family had to wait 2 years for oath though they were cleared after test and got DM immediately...

They had posted the oath invites on 21, March and I received the whole bunch for my family today! Relief after 2 years!

When I submitted my CIT0520 docs and did not receive any response for a couple of months, I called CIC up and was told to wait for 3 or 6 months for a feedback failing which I was asked to call them for an update.

When you first apply for citizenship, a security check is done. It has some validity, hence if your CIT 0520 docs are accepted and the process complete before the expiry of your security check then you should be fine else revalidating the checks takes anywhere between 4 to 8 weeks. The checks...
