Congrats and thanks for the info. So it took you just over 2 months to receive your card. I landed December 11, so based on your timeline it looks like I can expect my card around mid-February.

Your guess is as good as mine. If we're lucky our wait could just be 50 days, but some people on here seem to be waiting a lot longer than 50 days. I'm hoping it takes just 50 days, since that would mean my wait is already half over (25 days have passed since I landed).

A friend had the same problem since her job has taken her all over the world the past 10 years. She did the best she could to report all of her travel dates as accurately as possible, though she still had to guess on a few of them. Her PR was approved last year and she is now landed, so I'd say...

Just adding my case: My wife and I landed December 11, 2016 at the Peace Arch in BC. From the other posts in this thread, it sounds like we still have a long wait ahead of us before we receive our PR cards.

My COPR arrived in the mail yesterday (Monday Nov 28). Unfortunately I haven't been able to see it since it was delivered to my immigration lawyer's office and I'm currently out of town. Can't wait to get back and do the border run.

Yes! Same happened to me a few months ago. Neither me nor my representative made the change, so it must have been made by CIC. Was wondering if it was just me or if anyone else has had the same thing happen.

Yes you should receive an email from CIC saying that your COPR is being mailed to you. I got my email one week after "decision made" appeared online.

Congrats 2016istheyear! Received an email from CIC today, saying that my COPR was mailed to me this morning. They said to allow up to 14 days for it to arrive. Will be checking the mailbox obsessively every day.

Ok thanks. Haha I don't plan to mess around either, as soon as I get the COPR I will drive to the border that same day or the next morning. Still hoping it arrives before the 28th, but I'm okay with receiving it by early December. Really hope I don't have to wait until 2017 though.

Regarding my DM -- I just realized that I'm from a visa-exempt country (United States). So does that mean I won't be getting a PPR? If not, does anyone know what I should expect next, and when? :-X

Haven't we been "almost there" for over a year now? "Almost there" means nothing if we can never actually get there.

August 13 applicant, file complete since May, still waiting.

My MP tried to explain it as "November is when they said they should take action on my file, since by then it will be considered past their current processing time." But the current processing time on their website is 21 months, and I've been in process for 25 months, so I'm 4 months overdue...

My MP called CIC again this week (fourth time since June) and was told "November is the time for action on my file." Whatever that means.
