residency obligation not met do i need a lawyer?

Should be no issues for working or travelling within Canada. Got health card, driving license, insurance etc. You cannot lose status unless you giveup or apply a new PRTD or PRcard while not in compliance. But if you are a family I suggest all move to Canada before PR card expiry even if not in...

PR Renounce Docs Sent but no response.

Hi, It has been 3 months and haven't heard after renouncing the application. Just receiving automated responses to any web queries or follow-up emails. Spouse's PR card Expired & Didnot meet RO to renew. Can I Renounce her current PR and Sponsor her?

Thank you. I contacted the IRCC call center and it seems the only way is to wait for the update on renunciation application from the visa office or to apply for a PRTD. IRCC mentioned that it is better to resolve the existing status before applying spousal sponsorship application.

Hi, I am currently living and working in Canada as a PR. My spouse's PR card is expired and she is unable to travel to Canada. She can't renew or apply for PRTD as she didn't meet the residency obligation and we do not have a serious H&C reason. The reason is just we didn't make our mind to...
