I agree ... most of the agents are answering based on the exress entry system. I remember many of them told me that DM does't mean PPR, and if there is something sent, it will appear in your ECAS that the office has sent a correspondence, which is not true for the old system. Keep trying ... use MagicJack app .. it is free. Or if you have Vodafone line, there is a service called "101" for calling North America with local rates (but it works after 11:00pm Local Time).

We were like 7/8 guys having the same problem. Some of us received PPR, others not yet. I advise you to send to CPC-Ottawa to your officer an inquiry email. Also try to call CIC call center to check the status of this DM. You will hear the normal answer "still within 18 months". Keep calling...

Keep calling with different agents. I tried 16 times with the same answer and the 17th was able to find an agent who opened my case and checked.

I sent my inquiry to the officer who sent me the MR (AW5180 in my case). Perhaps this can fasten the response since it will be forwarded to the officer directly and will not be considered as general inquiry. That is a thought only.

I noticed VN6237 in the RFV email. My officer in the MR email is AW5180.

Question guys regarding passports. I am outside North America. If I want to stamp the visa in another office (Abu Dhabi), do I have to wait the office to send me again asking for passports, or just send immediately?
