Hi guys, my wife's OWP has finally been approved. It was approved today. The application was received on Dec 13th 2019.

"same day" means May 19th?

Has anyone tried contacting CIC as to why they've stopped (it seems like) processing OWP's? Not a single application seems to have been processed since May 19th.

As per the "Sponsorship Application timeline 2019" google doc sheet, no one seems to have received their OWP approved since May 13th. There is only one person who updated that their application was approved on May 18th. It's a frustrating wait. My wife's spouse and OWP application was received...

I think it is the date you created the barcode pages for your OWP application. It was the same for me too. I might be wrong in interpreting but this was what I could come up with.

OWP applications for spousal applicants seemed to get approved every Thursday until Feb, 21st. No one (except one on Feb 28th) has updated their status on OWP approval. This is really weird and frustrating. Has anyone got any information as to why this delay is? thanks

Can I apply Spouse visa without Indian PCC? My wife does have Singaporean PCC though. I will try and arrange to send the Indian PCC in the meantime. Will that work? Thanks

yes they are going to waive the fee. The irony is I am a school teacher in the same school district board and still they won't allow him...thanks anyways

First of all, thanks for the reply. Yes, I did check with the school board but they are adamant to have a study visa for him even though I am a PR. They said they would enroll him conditionally as soon as we apply for the study visa and PR application. thanks
