I didn't send my NOA because I didn't file my taxes for 2016 as I stayed for only 20 days in Canada after landing in 2016. I sent the justification letter for not providing NOA as mentioned in checklist, but they said they couldn't process without NOA.

I applied in june first but my file was returned..reapplied on 17th august

My husband is working full time in India. For him this wait may not be not that difficult as it is for me. He has family and friends there. M living alone here. Everyday when you go back home and see no one around that is the actual pain of waiting. At least spouses in India have families around...

No matter how busy you are in your job but you need the support of your spouse and family here. Sponsors like me who are living here alone are on the verge of depression too. :(

Did you receive email from New Delhi that they have received your file?

Yes, Visa doesn't have photo on it. The other paper is COPR (confirmation of PR) which your wife has to show to immigration officer on landing and officer will keep one copy with him and will give you second copy.

Oh okay! Just take along as many proofs as you can like pictures and stuff.

Yes, I got it done but I think it is not mandatory as there are many applicants who sent the Marriage certificate without authentication from Ministry of foreign affairs.

Earlier I was also thinking to do my landing after getting married, but then I get to know this can be considered as misrepresentation while sponsoring my husband. So I did my landing before getting married.

In my case I did my landing before getting married so I did not get any problem. I was approved single, I landed single. After doing my landing I got married. But you got married before your landing.
